Here to share some of my snack favorites so far during pregnancy! Celebrating 23 weeks today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude & it feels so surreal! I didn’t think this would be my first blog post about pregnancy so far but here we are haha 🙂 I’m a big fan of snacks and starting out I was a little anxious about what I was eating or not eating, etc. but I wanted to share a few of my go-to healthy snacks that I’ve continued eating and have integrated into my routine more since pregnancy! I will say, I didn’t eat much dairy before pregnancy but seems like I can eat it now without my tummy getting upset so included some of those options too!
>Carrots & Hummus
>Almond Nut-Thins or Pita Chips w/ Hummus
>Apples & Peanut Butter
>Peanut Butter Toast (love David’s Killer Bread)
>Broccoli cooked in the oven w/ a little oil
>Protein Bars, my go-to has been GoMacro bars, I’ve had a few Quest & RXbars, they’re good too but GoMacro is my favorite and they’re organic.
>Nuts & Trail Mix
>Yogurt w/ Granola (love the dairy free OUI yogurt & the TwoGood greek yogurt, this one has 12g of protein and only 3g sugar!)
>Green Protein Smoothie
Here’s what I like to put in mine! 2 handfuls of Spinach, Plant Based Protein, Spoonful or 2 of powdered PB (PB2), TwoGood yogurt, Handful of Fresh Blueberries, Half of a Banana, Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk or Water
>Crackers w/ cheese, my favorite are Colby Jacks cubes I get at the grocery or Laughing Cow cheese.
>Pretzels w/ Peanut Butter or Hummus
>HIPPEAs, chickpea puffs
>Banana on a PB Toast or English Muffin
>Granola, my go-to is the KIND granola, the Dark Chocolate Clusters & the Peanut Butter Clusters are my favorite flavors but there are lots to choose from. Love throwing these in my yogurt or just grabbing a handful to snack on.
