Date Night Round Up

Hello Beauties!

It’s Thursday and I’m thinking about what we’re doing this Friday for date night! So it’s fitting to put together a post about some date night ideas!

So a little bit about us before I jump into things. My husband is very outgoing, life of the party, loves being surrounded by as many people as possible and all about fun all the time, he’s amazing haha we’re so very different and I need him in my life for sure! I on the other hand love having it just be the two of us, solo dates, nights in, or enjoying a nice dinner and taking a walk.. my love language is quality time, so I’m sure you can already tell where I’m going with this lol. We have very different ideas of what we should do for date night and have had to meet in the middle and come up with ideas that make both of us enjoy our time together even more!

Here are a few ideas for both types of people!

. Making dinner together and inviting friends over after for board games. (Yes, we are total board game people!)
. Going to a sporting event. My husband is pretty into baseball so that’s usually the winner haha!
. Having dinner downtown. One of my favorite spots is The Melting Pot,  then spending the rest of evening walking around checking out stores and/or riding scooters to add in a little adventure!
. Doing an Escape Room with friends, or to really shake it up, people we don’t know!
. Trying out a restaurant that we haven’t been to yet, gets us to switch up our normal dinner routines in a new environment and area of town so it’s always a fun experience! Even more funny experiences if it’s a type food we haven’t had before! We had Thai food for the first time last week and it was so fun, trying new things together!
. Grab coffee at Starbucks or a local coffee shop, we love both! But having the time to enjoy talking with each other, catching up on the week, reading (which we both like to do) and after there’s always the option of getting together with some friends for board games, dessert out at a restaurant or something like that!
. Going to the gym together to get a good workout in, hang out in the hot tub for a little while and chat and wrap up the evening with making dinner at home!
. In the fall, my most favorite season, we love to have bonfires in our backyard! It’s so fun and to buy a bonfire pit is really cheap, I think we only paid $25 for ours from Menards last year! We get to be at home, but surrounded by more people love, having good conversation and snacks around the fire!
. My husband also likes to shop, so going shopping together and spoiling him a little bit is always fun  and fulfilling! Getting to understand more of what he likes, his style, etc.

Date night can be whatever you want it to be 🙂 Sometimes for us it’s running errands together, shopping for furniture or getting ideas on our next projects and building our dreams for what we want to have in the future! The key for us has been finding joy in the everyday! The beauty is, is it’s whatever you guys want it to be!

What are some of your favorite date night ideas?!
